Meteor Shower August 12th


Perse's annual meteor shower (August 12th) put on quite a show for the stars Tuesday night for Europe to California.

Astronomers predicted that as many as 100 meteors per hour to skate in the sky during the peak of the shower.

The screen is visible for many fortunate enough to have clear Sky in the northern hemisphere, but in North America, the best time to see it was just before dawn on Wednesday.

Astronomers said that the best way to guarantee a good idea to move away from cities and other brightly-lit areas.
